CHAP. 339.— An act providing for the establishment of a port of entry at Mount Desert Ferry, in the town of Hancock, in the State of Maine.May 17, 1886. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Mount Desert Ferry, Hancock, Me., a port of entry. That the port of Mount Desert Ferry, in the town of Hancock, in the State of Maine, be, and the same is hereby, established as a port of entry, subject to the same regulations, privileges, and facilities as other ports of entry in the United States: *Proviso*.
Collector at Frenchman’s Bay to detail deputy.*Provided*, That the official duties of said port shall be performed under the direction of the collector of customs for the district of Frenchman’s Bay, and by a deputy detailed by him for that purpose. Approved, May 17, 1886.
