CHAP. 289.— An Act granting an increase of pension to Stephen D. Smith.Feb. 28, 1887. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Stephen D. Smith.Pension increased That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Stephen D. Smith, late a private in Company C, Seventh New Hampshire Volunteers, at the rate of fifty dollars per month, in lieu of that which he is now receiving. Approved, February 28, 1887.
