CHAP. 256.— An Act for the relief of E. Remington and Sons.Feb. 24, 1887. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,E. Remington & Sons.Payment, drawbacks on ex-ported arms. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized to adjust the claims of E. Remington and Sons for drawback on arms exported by them in the years eighteen hundred and seventy-nine and eighteen hundred and eighty without the filing of drawback entries thereof at the time of shipment; and that there shall be allowed and paid to said E.
Remington and Sons, out of the appropriation to pay drawbacks made by the act of June sixteenth,Vol. 21, p. 242. eighteen hundred and eighty, the sum of five thousand six hundred and seventy-two dollars and fifteen cents, or so much thereof as shall be found due, in settlement of such claims, less ten per centum thereof, as provided by section three thousand and nineteen of the Revised Statutes.R.
