CHAP. 24.— An Act for the relief of Albion S. Keith.Jan. 17, 1887. Whereas, Albion S. Keith, late a naval cadet in the United States Navy,Preamble. having successfully passed his final examination for graduation and being found mentally, morally, and professionally qualified for promotion to the rank of ensign, has been, however, found physically disqualified for promotion by reason of a disease contracted from exposure in the line of duty at sea, which entirely disables him, and because of which he was honorably discharged:
Therefore, *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*Albion S. Keith.May be appointed on the naval retired-list., That the President be, and he is hereby, authorized, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, to appoint the said Albion S. Keith an ensign in the United States Navy on the retired-list. Approved, January 17, 1887.
