CHAP. 168.— An Act for the relief of James M. Hagar.Feb. 21, 1887. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,James M. Hagar.Payment to. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and hereby is, directed to pay, from any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to James M. Hagar, managing owner of the ship Saint James, of Richmond. Maine, the sum of one thousand one hundred and twelve dollars and seventy-eight cents, that being the amount illegally exacted from said ship by the United States consul at Bremerhaven and covered into the Treasury, which sum said James M.
Hagar is entitled to have refunded to him, as appears by statements of the Secretary of State and Fifth Auditor of the Treasury. Approved, February 21, 1887.
