CHAP. 140.— An Act to pay B. S. James for transporting the United States mails.Feb. 17, 1887. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,B. S. James.Payment to. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay B. S. James, out of any moneys in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, such sum, not exceeding four hundred and eight dollars and three cents, as shall, upon reference to the proper accounting officers, be found justly due and payable to him for transportation of the mails over route numbered fifty-six hundred and ten in the years eighteen hundred and sixty-nine and eighteen hundred and seventy.
