CHAP. 89.— An act granting a pension to George OvermireJune 12, 1884. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,George Over mire.Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of George Overmire, formerly captain of Company F, Thirtieth Regiment Illinois Volunteers, and pay him a pension as of the rank of Captain in lieu of the pension allowed him, under the general pension law, of the rank of sergeant of said company and regiment from the date of the passage of this act.
