CHAP. 8.— An Act to change the name of the Slater National Bank of North Providence, Rhode Island.Jan. 8, 1885. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Slater National Bank, North Providence, Rhode Island, to change name. That the name of the Slater National Bank of North Providence, Rhode Island, be changed to the Slater National Bank of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, whenever the board of directors of said bank shall accept the new name by resolution of the board, confirmed by a vote or the written consent of stockholders holding two-thirds of the stock of the bank, and cause a copy of such action, duly authenticated, to be filed with the Comptroller of the Currency: *Provided*, That such acceptance shall be made within six months*Proviso*. after the passage of this act, and that all expenses incident to the proposed change, including engraving, shall be borne and paid by said bank.
Sec. 2. That all the debts, demands, liabilities, rights, privileges,Liabilities, etc., not affected. and powers of the Slater National Bank of North Providence shall inure to the Slater National Bank of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, whenever such change of name is effected. Approved, January 8th, 1885.
