CHAP. 430.— An Act for the relief of J. H. Hammond.March 3, 1885. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,J. H. Hammond.Payment to, for loss of Large.Appropriation. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay to J. H. Hammond of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of two thousand dollars in full for the loss of the barge William T. Anderson while in the military service of the United States by charter, as fully appears by papers now on file in the Office of the Third Auditor of the Treasury. Approved, March 3d, 1885.
