CHAP. 415.— An Act for the relief of the estates of Hugh and Byrd Douglas, deceased.March 3, 1885. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Hugh and Byrd Douglas, deceased.Payment to estates of, for rent and damage of property.Appropriation. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay to the legal representatives of Hugh and Byrd Douglas, deceased, late of Nashville, Tennessee, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of six thousand two hundred and ninety-nine dollars and thirty-three cents, for rent of and damage to their property in Nashville by officers of the Army of the United States during the late war.
