CHAP. 408.— An Act for the relief of Jeremiah McCarty.March 3, 1885. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Jeremiah McCarty.Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to place the name of Jeremiah McCarty of Newport, Rhode Island, on the roll of pensioners, and to pay him a pension at the rate to which a private soldier is and shall be entitled by law for like disabilities, from and after the passage of this act, Approved, March 3, 1885.
