CHAP. 401.— An Act for the relief of William H. Davis,March 3, 1885. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,William H. Davis.Relief of, for wharf and warehouse destroyed.Appropriation. That the sum of six thousand dollars be, and the same is hereby, appropriated out of any money’ in the Treasury, not otherwise appropriated, to indemnify William H. Davis, for the destruction of his wharf and warehouse at San Diego, in the State of California, by the United States troops during the winter of eighteen hundred and sixty one, and eighteen hundred and sixty-two, That the sum hereby appropriated is made immediately available, Approved, March 3rd, 1885.
