CHAP. 257.— An Act granting a pension to Mrs Mary T. Barnes.July 5, 1884. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Mary T. Barnes.Pension. That from and after the passage of this act the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll the name of Mary T. Barnes, widow of Brigadier-General Joseph K. Barnes, late Surgeon- General of the United States Army, and to pay her a pension at the rate of fifty dollars a month. Approved, July 5, 1884.
