CHAP. 255.— An Act granting a pension to William J. Lee.July 5, 1884. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,William J. Lee.Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the 590 FORTY-EIGHTH CONGRESS. SESS. I. CHS. 255-260. 1884. pension-roll, the name of William J. Lee, late confidential scout and guide, headquarters Army of the Potomac, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, as though he had been regularly mustered into the United States Army.
