CHAP. 209.— AN ACT granting a pension to Eugene L. Townsend.July 4, 1884. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United-States of America in Congress assembled*,Eugene L. Townsend.Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll, the name of Eugene L. Townsend, late of Company H, Seventy-first New York Volunteers, and Ninth Regiment Veteran Reserves, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws. Approved, July 4, 1884.
