CHAP. 199.— AN ACT granting a pension to William W. Day.July 4, 1884. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,William W. Day.Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of William W. Day, father of Cornelius V. Day, late a private in Company D, One hundred and fifty sixth Regiment New York Volunteers, and that there be paid to him, at the rate of eight dollars per month, commencing December twelfth, eighteen hundred and sixty-three, the amount allowed Abbie A.
Day, mother of the said soldier, under pension-certificate numbered one hundred and ninety-eight thousand eight hundred and fifty-nine Approved, July 4, 1884.
