CHAP. 177.— An Act granting an increase of pension to Merlin C, Harris.February 26, 1885. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Merlin C. Harris.Pension increased. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to increase the pension of Merlin C, Harris, late Captain of Company C, Ninety-sixth Regiment New York Volunteer Infantry, from the amount now paid him as sergeant to the amount paid a first lieutenant. Approved, February 26, 1885.
