CHAP. 162.— An act for the relief of Christopher P. Davidson.July 3, 1884. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Christopher P.Davidson.Pension. That Christopher P. Davidson, who served as a surgeon’s steward in the United States Navy, be allowed and paid out of the naval pension fund the amount of pension that would have been due him if he had been an enlisted person instead of an appointed one, as provided in section forty-seven hundred and fifty-six of the Revised Statutes, namely, one-half the pay of his rating at the time of his discharge. This act shall take effect upon its passage. Approved, July 3, 1884.
