CHAP. 123.— An Act to provide for the administration of oaths to witnesses in matters depending in either House of Congress.June 26, 1884. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Members of Congress may administer oaths to witnesses, etc. That any member of either House of Congress may administer oaths to witnesses in any matter depending in either House of Congress of which he is a member, or any committee thereof. Approved, June 26, 1884.
