CHAP. 116.— An Act granting a pension to Merit M. Oakley.Feb. 14, 1885. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Merit M. Oakley.Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and be is hereby authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll, the name of Merit M. Oakley, who was a private in Company K, Sixth Regiment of Iowa Cavalry, who shall receive a pension at the rate of eight dollars a month from and after the passage of this act. Approved, February 14th, 1885.
