CHAP. 8.— An Act to restore certain articles of silverware to Mrs. Isabella S. McRae.Feb. 11, 1882. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Isabella S. McRae. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to deliver unto Mrs. Isabella S. McRae, of Kershaw County, South Carolina, certain articles of silverware now in the custody of the Treasurer of the United StatesRestoration o f silverware. which are claimed by the said Isabella McRae to be her property, and were captured by the United States Army in South Carolina in the month of February, eighteen hundred and sixty-five, and deposited in the United States Treasury: *Provided,* That proof satisfactory to the*Proviso.* Secretary of the Treasury be made of the ownership by the said claimant and identification of the said articles of silverware.
