CHAP. 445.— An Act donating condemned cast iron cannon and cannon balls for monumental purposes.August 7, 1882. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Donation of cannon, etc., to—Robert D. Lathrop Post 138, G. A. R., Department of Now York; That the Secretary of War be, and he is hereby, directed to deliver to the Robert D. Lathrop Post Number One hundred and thirty-eight of the Grand Army of the Republic, Department of New York, four condemned cast iron cannon and four large cast iron cannonballs, to be placed by said post in the soldiers burial lot in the Hudson, New York, cemetery. 349 FORTY-SEVENTH CONGRESS.

Y. ; New York, four condemned cast iron cannon, of twenty-four or thirty- two pounders, and spherical shot for the use and adornment of the soldiers monument in the city of Utica and State of New York. Also, that the Secretary' of War be, and he is hereby, authorized andPost 208, G. A. R., New Brighton, Pa. ; directed to turn over to post numbered two hundred and eight, Grand Army of the Republic, at New Brighton, Pennsylvania, four condemned cast iron cannon and four cannonballs, for monumental purposes.
Also, two condemned cast-iron cannon, with four cannon balls, toPost of G. A. R., Georgetown, Mass.; the Post of the Grand Anny of the Republic, at Georgetown, Massachusetts, for monumental purposes. Also four condemned cast-iron cannon and four cannon balls forG. A. R. Pos , Whitehaven, Pa. ;G. A. R. Post, Danville, Pa.;Edwin M. Stanton Post, G. A. It, Steubenville, O. ; Grand Army of the Republic Post at Whitehaven Pennsylvania, Also, same for Grand Army of the Republic Post at Danville, Pennsylvania.
Also, four condemned cast-iron cannon and twelve cannon balls to the Edwin M. Stanton Post of the Grand Army of the Republic, at Steubenville, Ohio, for monumental purposes. Also, four condemned cast-iron cannon and four cannon balls forDahlgren Post, G. A. R., New York City; Dahlgren Post, Grand Army of the Republic, New York City, for monumental and other purposes Also four condemned cast-iron cannon and twelve cannon balls lor G. A. R. Association, Englewood, Ill.Englewood, Illinois, Grand Army of the Republic Association, for monumental purposes.
