CHAP. 428.— AN ACT granting an increase of pension to Stephen D. SmithAugust 5, 1882. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Stephen D. Smith.Pension increased. That the Secretary of the Interior is hereby authorized and directed to increase the pension heretofore allowed to Stephen D. Smith, of Canaan, New Hampshire, late a private in Company C. Seventh Regiment New Hampshire, Volunteers, to thirty seven dollars and fifty cents per month, said increase to date from the passage of this act. Approved, August 5, 1882.
