CHAP. 427.— AN ACT granting an increase of pension to James Bennett.August 5, 1882. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,James Bennett.Pension increased. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is, hereby authorized and directed to place on the FORTY-SEVENTH CONGRESS. Sess. I. Ch. 427–430, 449, 450. 1882. 733 pension-roll, subject to the regulations and limitations of the pension laws, the name of James. Bennett, late a sergeant of Company L, Second Regiment New York Cavalry, at the rate of fifty dollars per month, in lieu of the pension now received by him. Approved, August 5, 1882.
