CHAP. 422.— AN ACT for the relief of Martha A. Jones.August 5, 1882. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Martha A. Jones.Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll, the name of Martha A. Jones, widow of the late Oliver P. Jones, who was killed on the “Morgan raid” during the late war, and pay her a pension at the rate of eight dollars per month. Approved, August 5, 1882.
