CHAP. 420.— AN ACT for the relief of Alice. J. Bennit.August 5, 1882. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Alice J. Bennit and children, etc.Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Alice. J. Bennit, widow of Charles. N. Bennit, late a private in Company II of the Eighty fourth Regiment of New York Volunteers, and pay her a pension at the rate of eight dollars per month, and two dollars per month in addition thereto for each child of said Charles N. and Alice J.
Bennit until they arrive at the age of sixteen years respectively. Approved, August 5, 1882.
