CHAP. 411.— AN ACT granting a pension to Amos Chapman.August 5, 1882. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Amos Chapman.Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Amos Chapman, of the Indian Territory, late a scout under the immediate command of Colonel Nelson A. Miles, United States Army, said pensioner to be allowed the same as a private soldier for the loss of a leg. Approved, August 5, 1882.
