CHAP. 409.— AN ACT granting a pension to Jane S. Taplin.August 5, 1882. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Jane S. Taplin.Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Jane S. Taplin, mother of Osman B. Taplin, late a private in Company E. Second Regiment Wisconsin Volunteers, said pension to begin from and after the passage of this act. Approved, August 5, 1882.
