CHAP. 399.— An Act to establish diplomatic relations with Persia.August 5, 1882. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Diplomatic relations with Persia.R. S., 1675, 293, amended. That section sixteen hundred and seventy-live of the Revised Statutes of the United States be, and the same is hereby, amended by inserting after the words “ Liberia, four thousand dollars,” the words “charge d’affaires and consul general at Teheran, Persia, five thousandAppropriation. dollars,” and the sum necessary therefor is hereby appropriated out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated.
