CHAP. 345.— An Act to increase the pension of James Hawthorne.July 24, 1882. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,James Hawthorne.Pension increased. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of James Hawthorne, late a private in Company H. of the Twentieth Regiment Indiana Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension from and after the passage of this act at the rate of fifty dollars a month, in lieu of his present pension. Approved, July 24, 1882.
