CHAP. 29.— An act for the relief of John R. Taggert.Jan. 17, 1883. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,John R. Taggert.Relief of. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized to allow John R. Taggert to enter one hundred and sixty acres of public lands, or less, in a body, in any of the land-districts in the State of Minnesota, as a homestead, after a bonafide residence of one year thereon, and subject to all the provisions of the homestead act except as to limit of time of residence thereon; and the provisions of said act in relation to time of residence are hereby suspended, but only so far as they affect this entry.
