CHAP. 269.— An Act making an appropriation to construct a road and approaches from Mound City, Illinois, to the National Military Cemetery, and for other purposes.July 3, 1882. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Appropriation.Construction of road from Mound City, Ill., to Mound City National Cemetery. That a sum not to exceed fifteen thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, be, and the same is hereby', appropriated, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the purpose of constructing a road from Mound City, Illinois, to the Mound City National Military Cemetery, to be expended under the direction of the Secretary of War: *Provided,* *Proviso.*That land necessary for the right of way, not less than one hundred feet in width, shall be granted and ceded to the United States, without charge or cost to the United States.
