CHAP. 264.— An Act for the relief of J. H. Merrill.July 1, 1882. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,J. H. MerrillPayment to. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed, to pay to J. H. Merrill, out of any money in tho Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of forty-one dollars and forty-eight cents, the same being an erroneous charge for special improvement against part of lot four, square six hundred and eighty-four, one half of said sum to be charged to the revenues derived from taxation of the property of the District of Columbia. Approved, July 1, 1882.
