CHAP. 257.— An Act granting tn the Springfield Street Railway Company the right to lay tracks in Mill street, in Springfield, MassachusettsJuly 1, 1882. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Right of way through United States lands, Springfield, Mass. That the Springfield Street Railway Company is hereby authorized to lay and maintain its tracks in Mill street, so called, in Springfield, Massachusetts, on land owned by the United States, from Central street to a point opposite Lincoln Hall, so called, with the privilege of hereafter extending its tracks from that point to the limits of the land of the United States, near Walnut *Proviso*.street: *Provided, however*, That the said company shall remove said tracks whenever thereto directed by the Secretary of War or any *Proviso*.person acting under or by virtue of authority from him: *And provided further*, That the right to repeal, alter, or amend this act is reserved to Congress.
