CHAP. 22.— An Act making an appropriation for continuing the improvements of Galveston Harbor, State of Texas.Mar. 4, 1882. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Galveston Harbor, Texas. That the sum of one hundred thousand dollars be, and the same is hereby, appropriated, out of any moneys in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the purpose of continuing t he improvements of Galveston Harbor, in the State of Texas, whichImprovement of. improvements are now being prosecuted under the direction of the Secretary of War, anti the appropriation for which is wholly insufficient to continue the work to the end of the current fiscal year; and the expenditure of the sum hereby appropriated is placed under the direction andAppropriation. control of the Secretary of War.
