CHAP. 190.— An Act to authorize the receipt of United States gold coin in exchange for gold burs.May 26, 1882. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Exchange of gold liars for United States gold coin. That the superintendents of the coinage mints, and of the United States assay office at New York, are hereby authorized to receive United States gold coin from any holder thereof in sums not less than five thousand dollars, and to pay and deliver in exchange therefor gold bars in value equaling such coin so received. Approved, May 26, 1882.
