CHAP. 178.— An Act granting a pension to Modena SmithMay 23, 1882. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Modena Smith.Pension. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and required to place on the pension-roll, the name of Modena Smith, widow of Robert Smith, deceased, late a private in Company B, Fifth Regiment of United States Colored Troops, subject to the limitations and provisions of the pension laws. Approved, May 23, 1882.
