CHAP. 121.— An Act for the relief of Joseph L. Stevens.May 4, 1882. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Joseph L. Stevens.Credit in account. That the proper officers of the Post-Office Department are hereby authorized and directed to credit in the account of Joseph L. Stevens, Postmaster at Manchester, New Hampshire, the sum of three thousand two hundred and eighty-five dollars, being the value of certain postage-stamps which were stolen from the safe in said post-office on or about the sixteenth day of June, anno Domini, eighteen hundred and seventy-seven, without the fault or negligence of said postmaster.
