CHAP. 119.— An Act making an immediate appropriation for the removal of obstructions at Hell Gate, New York.May 4, 1882. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Removal of obstructions from Hell Gate, N. Y.Appropriation. That the sum of fifty thousand dollars be and is hereby appropriated, to be paid out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the removal of obstructions in East River, Hell Gate, New York, the same to be expended under the direction of the Secretary of War, and to be immediately available. Approved, May 4, 1882.
