CHAP. 72.— An Act for enlarging the City Hall for the accommodation of the courts and records of the District of Columbia.Feb. 23, 1881. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,City Hall, district of Columbia, enlargement of. That the sum of one hundred and seventeen thousand dollars be, and the same hereby is appropriated, out of any moneys in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to be expended, under the direction of the Appropriation.Secretary of the Interior, in enlarging the City nail so as to afford additional accommodations for the courts of the District and for fire proof rooms for the safe keeping of the records of the courts and of the District of Columbia, according to the general plan furnished by the Architect of the Capitol extension, and under the supervision of that officer.
