CHAP. 27.— An Act making appropriation for the removal of the remains of the late Major General George Sykes, United States Army, from Fort Brown, Texas, to West Point, New York.Feb. 17, 1880. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Maj. Gen. George Sykes, removal of remains of.Appropriation. That the Secretary of War be, and he is.hereby, authorized and directed to have the remains of the late Major General George Sykes, United States Army, transported from Fort Brown, Texas, to West Point, New York, and the sum of one FORTY SIXTH CONGRESS.
Sess. II. On. 27,28,29, 31,32. 1880. 535 thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated, from any money in the United States Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to carry this act into effect. Approved, February 17, 1880.
