CHAP. 17.— An Act granting the right of way to the county of Warren in the State of Mississippi, and to the Memphis and Vicksburg Railroad Company, through the United States cemetery tract of land near Vicksburg, Mississippi.Jan. 13, 1881. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Right of way—U. S. cemetery lands, near Vicksburg, Miss. That the right of way is hereby granted to the county of Warren in the State of Mississippi, and to the Memphis and Vicksburg Railroad Company, chartered by the State of Mississippi, for a public wagon road and a railroad through the United States cemetery tract of land near Vicksburg, Mississippi, from the south line to the north line of said tract, around and outside of the wall of the cemetery grounds, and on the western boundary of said tract of land; the location thereof to be subject to the approval of the Secretary of War; and that this act take effect and be in force from and after its *Proviso.**Proviso.*passage: *Provided*, That the right of way granted by this act shall not exceed fifty feet in width: *And provided further*, That said roads shall not be laid off so as to in any manner interfere with the plan of the cemetery.
