CHAP. 167.— An act providing for the transportation of the mails between East Saint Louis, in the State of Illinois, and Saint Louis, in the State of Missouri.June 9, 1880. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Mails between East Saint Louis, Ill., and Saint Louis, Mo. That the Postmaster-General be, and he hereby is, authorized to treat the transportation of mails between East Saint Louis and the Union Depot in Saint Louis, Missouri, as other than railroad service, and to pay for the same to the lowest bidder therefor, having due regard to the efficiency of the service, out of any appropriation available for the purpose.
