CHAP. 85.— An Act for the relief of Charles B. Varney.May 2, 1878. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Charles B. Varney.Payment to. That the Secretary of the. Treasury be, and he hereby is, authorized and directed to pay to Charles B. 526 FORTY-FIFTH CONGRESS. Sess. II. Ch. 85, 86, 89, 90, 92. 1878. Varney, of Portland, Maine, the, sum of two hundred dollars, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, as compensation for the use and occupancy of a certain piece of land situated in said city of Portland, belonging to said Varney, by the United States, during the years eighteen hundred and sixty-seven, eighteen hundred and sixty-eight, and a part of eighteen hundred and sixty-nine.
