CHAP. 8.— AN ACT to authorize and direct the Secretary of State to affix the Great Seal of the United States to a certain document therein stated.Jan. 18, 1878. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Great seal of United States to be affixed to a certain document. That the Secretary of State, be and he is hereby authorized and directed to affix the great seal of the United States, to the document entitled “The administrators of the United States government at the beginning of its second century.” Approved, January 18, 1878.
