CHAP. 79.— AN ACT to prohibit the coinage of the twenty cent piece of silver.May 2, 1878. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Twenty cent silver piece, coinage prohibited. That from, and after the passage of this act, the coinage of the twenty cent piece of silver, by the Government of the United States be, and the same is hereby prohibited. And all laws in conflict with this act are hereby repealed. Approved, May 2, 1878.
