CHAP. 47.— AN ACT to provide for deficiencies in the miscellaneous fund of the Senate and of the House of Representatives.April 2, 1878. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Appropriation.Miscellaneous a funds of Senate and House. That the sum of thirty thousand dollars is hereby appropriated out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to meet the miscellaneous expenses of the House of Representatives, to be disbursed by the Clerk of the House.
That the following sums be, and the same are hereby, appropriated, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to meet the contingent expenses of the Senate, namely: For miscellaneous items, twenty thousand dollars. For folding books, speeches, and pamphlets, at the prices specified in the legislative act for the current fiscal year, one thousand five hundred dollars. Approved, April 2, 1878.
