CHAP. 40.— An Act granting a Pension to Margaret R. Colony, widow of the late Major Josiah B. Colony, First Maryland Infantry Volunteers.March 22, 1878. *Be it enacted by the Senate and. House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Mrs. Margaret E Colony.Pension to. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and be is hereby, authorized and directed to place ou the pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Margaret II.
Colony, widow of the late Major Josiah B. Colony, First Maryland Infantry Volunteers, and pay her a pension as the rank of major, in lieu of the pension now received, from and after the passage of this act. Approved, March 22, 1878.
