CHAP. 305.— AN ACT for the relief of William Johnson and John R. Francis of Edgar County, Illinois.March 3, 1879. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,W. Johnson.J. R. Francis.Property taken. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to pay the sum of two thousand four hundred and forty dollars and ninety cents to William Johnson and John R. Francis of Edgar County, Illinois, out of any moneys in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the same to be in full compensation for all property taken from or furnished by them or either of them to or by the United States military authorities during the war.
