CHAP. 299.— AN ACT for the relief of V. H. McCormick.March 3, 1879. *Be it enacted by the Senate and Hanse of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,V. H. McCormick.Salary. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, anti lie is hereby, authorized and instructed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to V. H. McCormick the sum of five hundred and fifty-five dollars and fifty-six cents, in full of all claim by said McCormick for salary as special messenger and watchman to the Special Committee on Investigation of the Freedman’s Savings and Trust Company during the Forty-fourth Congress, from the sixteenth day of August, eighteen hundred and seventy-six, to the fourth day of March, eighteen hundred and seventy-seven, inclusive.
